The first winner of the National Essay Writing Competition is Fioni Dwiningrum with her essay “The Development of the Media and Education”, a 12th grade student in Science class of Global Prestasi High School in Bekasi, which has won a total cash prize of Rp. 3,000,000, an educational voucher from President University of Rp. 3,000,000, and a 3 months subscription of Suara Pembaruan newspaper.
The second winner was surprisingly Fioni's twin sister, Fiona Dwingrum, also a 12th grade student in Science class at Global Prestasi High School in Bekasi, with her essay: “How Media Affects the Development of Education” which has won a total cash prize of Rp. 2,000,000, an educational voucher from President University of Rp. 2,000,000 and a 2 months subscription of Suara Pembaruan Newpaper.
The third place was won by Dita Vania, a 12th grade student from SMAK 1 BPK Penabur with her essay: “ Media’s Role and Impact in the Development of Education through Information, Communication and Technology” which has won a total cash prize of Rp. 1,000,000, and educational voucher from President University of Rp. 1,000,000, and a free one month subscription of Suara Pembaruan newspapaer.
